What do I need to run Wave 7.0?

Vertical Wave 7.0 now runs on Microsoft Windows Server 2016, which is a 64-bit operating system.  This requires that your Wave server is 64-bit capable.  The current model IP500 and current model IP2500 are both 64-bit systems.  While the previous IP2500 model (with a front LCD and 2GB of RAM) is also 64-bit capable and supports Wave 7.0, we do recommend using the current model IP2500 with Wave 7.0.

Wave 7.0 requires a Windows Server 2016 COA (the license sticker on the right side of your Wave chassis).  This is now included with all current model Wave systems.

All new Wave systems now ship with Wave 7.0 pre-installed.  If upgrading from a previous version of Wave, you do need an active software subscription to obtain your Wave 7.0 upgrade licenses.  Feel free to contact us and we can determine if your software subscription is active.
