Should I have a backup Wave system on hand? Do I need to buy an extra set of licenses for a backup system?

While we do typically keep at least one of every Wave hardware component on hand in-house and available for overnight delivery if needed, we do recommend that all Wave customers have a backup system on hand.  The majority of our customers keep a spare IP500/IP2500 base system on hand, many of which perform regular backups/restorations between their production system and backup system.  No extra Wave licensing is needed for a spare/backup system.  For customers running a Wave IP2500, we recommend at the very minimum to keep a spare IP2500 power supply on hand (the IP2500 uses a modular power supply which may be purchased separately).
