What is the Vertical Wave Software Subscription?
The Vertical Wave Software Subscription provides all Wave software version upgrades for the duration of the subscription. Rather than selling standalone “Upgrade Licenses”, Vertical continuously provides Wave upgrade licenses to customers with an active software subscription.

Login to your Wave Global Administrator and click on “Software Licenses”, then look for a “Wave Software Subscription” license. If this license is present, your system has a software subscription, however, if you have not renewed the subscription, it will not be active with Vertical and will need to be renewed before you’ll be able to obtain your new Wave version licenses. If you’re not sure if your subscription is active, please contact us and we will gladly check this for you.
Do you have an active Wave software subscription, but haven’t received your upgrade licenses?
We provide regular notifications to our customers regarding new Wave versions, and issue Wave software upgrade licenses to all of our customers. Please contact us if you need assistance with your Wave upgrade licenses. We are glad to assist all Wave customers, regardless of where your Wave system was purchased.
How do you upgrade your Wave software version?
We provide detailed upgrade instructions for every upgrade scenario (both IP500 and IP2500 systems, with upgrade instructions covering all previous versions). We also offer an upgrade service where we do the prep work and ship you a new Wave system hard drive (SSD). Simply swap your old drive with the new drive, then follow our quick upgrade guide to finish the upgrade process. This reduces the upgrade time from 4-5 hours down to less than 1 hour (in most cases).
Has your Wave Software Subscription Expired?
No problem, Vertical offers a “Back on Track” program to allow customers with previously expired subscriptions to jump back on the software subscription.
What terms are offered for the software subscription?
The Vertical Wave Software subscription is available in one-year and five-year terms.
